The Research Center at the YCMES 

The Yemen College of Middle Eastern Studies, with accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is able to host scholars to conduct research in the Republic of Yemen.  The YCMES facilitates and assists in travel (international and in-country), appointments with local organizations, ministries, and officials, lodging, and other logistical support.  The YCMES also obtains the necessary permits, both travel and research, and helps as needed with the academic aspects of the research process. 

Applicants should be prepared to provide sufficient evidence of their academic affiliation, an outline to the nature of their project, and the location of their research.  At the end of the research project, applicants must submit a report on their results to the YCMES.
