Administration

The College is governed by its president, academic deans and Board of Advisors. The president is responsible for all of the college's day-to-day operations (including its relations to the Yemeni government and other national and international institutions) and consults with the deans in the college's academic affairs.

The curriculum is overseen by a special committee (with the president and academic deans as ex-officio members). The committee plans the curriculum, makes certain that instruction is consonant with the highest academic standards of universities and colleges in Europe and the United States, and that its program of study is both intellectually coherent and rigorous.

Board of Advisors

The Board of Advisors meets at least once a year to review the college's progress (as reported by the president, the deans and the chair of the curriculum committee), discuss and vote on various policies, make recommendations about the college's future, and wherever possible assist the college in its affairs. The Board will have a mix of membership: Yemeni and non-Yemeni (U.S., Europe, and Canada), academic (broad spectrum of universities) and non-academic (diplomacy and business). The term of service will be three years.
