YCMES Employment in Partnership with YALI

Established in 1975 as the first English language institute in the Middle East of the US State Department, the Yemen-America Language Institute (YALI) now celebrates its 34th anniversary as the largest and most respected English language institute in Yemen and in the Middle East. Set up to improve the English literacy level among the Yemeni people, its government institutions, and civil society as well as to promote cross-cultural exchanges and understandings between Yemenis and Americans, YALI has seen its enrolment growing from 100 or 200 students per term in the seventies to now reach an average of 2,800 students per term.
